Chromenta ion-exclusion columns are packed with PS/DVB resins available in 5µm and 8µm particle sizes. The column in H+ form is routinely used in the bio-ethanol monitoring for simultaneously separating small sugars, organic acids, and alcohols using 100% water as the mobile phase. The Ca++ form provides a different selectivity for small sugar separations in food and plant materials.
- Compatibility with most aqueous mobile phases, including pure water as the eluent
- Wide operating-temperature range of 20 to 90 Deg-C
- pH range 1-3 for Sugar H+
- pH range 5-9 for Sugar Ca++
