Endcapped phases for RP and ion-pairing chromatography
Available pore sizes 120, 300, 500, 1000 and 4000 Å, available particle sizes 5 µm, 7 µm and 10 µm
Separation mechanism based on hydrophobic (van der Waals) interactions, some residual silanol interactions
Retention times are shorter than on C8 and C18 phases
pH stability at 20 °C: 2–8
