Features

 Hydrophobic, nonpolar phase for RP chromatography, pore size 100 Å, particle sizes 5 µm
pH stability 2–8, carbon content 13 %,
recommended for separation of moderately to highly polar (water-soluble) compounds
Applications: steroids, nucleosides, cyclodextrins, pharmacological plant constituents
Separation mechanism based on hydrophobic (van der Waals) interactions
