YMC-Pack Protein-RP is designed to overcome the major limitation of short chain reversed phase columns used for biomolecule analyses. In such columns, aqueous acidic eluents, such as 0.1% TFA, often leads to a loss of retention and resolution. Protein-RP utilises a proprietary bonding and endcapping process to produce a phase which is resistant to the typical eluents used for the analysis of proteins and peptides.
The high purity silica support and complete bonding coverage of Protein-RP results in very high sample recoveries. This is an important consideration when choosing a column for biochemical analyses.
