BlueOrchid

by KNAUER

Vertex Plus Column BlueOrchid

BlueOrchid: columns for ultra high performance liquid chromatography.

BlueOrchid sub-2 μm columns represent a new level of performance in HPLC, offering faster separations with improved resolution.

Advantages of BlueOrchid columns

  • faster analysis (up to 10 times)
  • improved resolution
  • enhanced sensitivity
  • low back pressure
  • excellent peak shape

BlueOrchid columns enable fast and high throughput analyses. The columns offer advantages over the more traditional columns containing 3 and 5 µm particles. BlueOrchid is based on high purity silica. Outstanding peak shape and low back pressure behavior comparing to other sub 2 µm column materials characterize the BlueOrchid material. BlueOrchid SAX represents a strong anion exchanger column material. BlueOrchid SAX columns are suitable for the analysis of smaller organic molecules, including nucleotides and organic acids.

Similar columns from other manufacturers to BlueOrchid

Specific columns from up to 10 families from other manufacturers with the same Mode and Modification. Compare a column to see its recorded specifications alongside this column.

How similarity is calculated
The percentage compares the two specific columns shown, using Modification (25%), Product Usage (20%), Carbon Load (15%), Endcapping (10%), Pore Size (10%), Surface Area (8%), pH Stability (8%) and Particle Size (4%). Missing values are excluded. At least three criteria and 50% of the total weight must be available to show a score. Open Compare Column for every contribution and the calculation. Mode is a required discovery filter; length and internal diameter do not affect the score. Recommendations retain the family discovery rules. An eligible sponsor may appear first and is labelled Sponsored.
A similarity score does not guarantee identical selectivity or performance. Confirm suitability under the intended method conditions.
